31 3/4in. black powder only damascus barrels (shortened), rib engraving indistinct, Jones patent rotary-underlever, carved percussion fences, rebounding back-action locks engraved 'THOMAS TURNER.', the bar of the action engraved 'THIS GUN WAS SECOND AT THE "FIELD" TRIALS 1875', the action flats stamped with the Scott trademark tower, retaining much blued finish overall, 14 1/4in. tiger-striped pistolgrip stock including horn pistolgrip cap, wooden comb insert and rubber recoil pad, fore-end with horn finial, weight 10lb. 3oz.
